A recent survey from eSpark showed some very interesting insights into what teachers are looking for in 2024 - the top of the list? Student engagement.

That isn't a surprise, we've been talking about student engagement forever. It's only gotten more and more difficult to capture a student's attention in an era of quick, easily digestible content. What's new is how eSpark has chosen to approach this struggle.

I sat down with two members of the eSpark team, Mary Gurley and John Jennings, to understand what they've learned from listening to teachers and how they use that feedback in their product.

You’ll Learn:

  • The results of a survery of just under 600 K-5 general education classroom teachers from throughout the United States
  • Whether teachers with 10+ years of experience in education feel comfortable trying new digital learning tools

  • Why student engagement is still such a struggle for teachers

  • How eSpark has used their learnings to adapt their product
